Natalie and I had a great time visiting Mom the weekend of 9/13. Kate was also visiting and did yeoman’s duty. I was very impressed by the concerted efforts of Jim, Karen, Matt and Lou – without those folks I’m not sure how any of us could manage!

The work load is immense and continuous and it’s my understanding that we now have a new face on the scene – Kristin – who’s going to be shouldering more-and-more of the day-to-day responsibility. It’s important that we all keep in touch with her so we can be informed about the homefront as well as to learn how we can contribute to its domestic well-being. So thanks, Kristin, for your willingness to step up. Please don’t be shy about letting folks know what’s needed in Spfld. so we can all pitch in and do our part!
